Brooklyn’s Big Spaceship has set up Pretty Loaded, an archive of website preloading screens – the visuals that come up while you are waiting for a website to load. The agency’s Michael Lebowitz describes it as “a history/gallery/short-attention-span-theater of preloaders”.

M&CSaatchi have done such a great job, i just had to post it. Great idea, well written and wonderfully executed – brilliant.

The Barack Obama campaign spent $500k on Facebook ads during his campaign creating huge online support through social networking web. However Facebook themselves created the largest online rally in history, encouraging just under 5 million people to tell others to vote using their status updates.
The opportunities to use Facebook for marketing purposes are often and varied, but I wonder whether the humble status update could be the most powerful tool going? Check this out.
